These terms are the agreement between you and VYTHOS TECH LIMITED (company number 17470263, registered in England and Wales, 2 Twyford Avenue, London, England, W3 9QA) — "Vythos", "we", "us" — for using Vythos. By creating an account you accept them, together with our Data Processing Agreement. If you accept them for a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind it, and "you" means that business.

  1. Who Vythos is for

    Vythos is a service for businesses: agencies, consultants and freelancers using it for their trade, business or profession. By signing up you confirm that is how you will use it, and that you are at least 18.

  2. Your account

    Give us accurate details and keep them current. Keep your password and your API keys to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with your account and for the people you invite to your workspace. Tell us straight away at michael@vythos.tech if you think someone else has used your account.

  3. The service

    Vythos keeps your rules and your knowledge and gives them to you and the AI tools you connect. We will provide it with reasonable skill and care. We improve it all the time, so features can change; we will not take away something central to a paid plan during a period you have paid for without telling you first. We aim for Vythos to be available at all times but cannot promise it will never be interrupted, for example for maintenance or by events outside our control.

  4. Plans and payment

    • Prices are on our pricing page, in US dollars. VAT or other sales tax is added where it applies. Payments are handled by Stripe.
    • Free has no time limit. Solo and Team are paid plans; when you upgrade, you are charged straight away.
    • Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in Settings → Billing; your plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for, and your workspace then moves to Free. We do not refund part-used periods, except where these terms or the law say otherwise.
    • Credits are the questions you can ask inside Vythos each period. Unused monthly credits do not carry over. Credits you buy as a top-up stay until you use them or delete the workspace, and are not refundable. Connecting your AI tools never uses credits.
    • Price changes apply from your next renewal, with at least 30 days' notice by email.
    • If a payment fails, we will tell you and try again. If it still fails, paid features pause and your workspace works as Free until the payment is made.

  5. Your content

    What you and your team put into Vythos — documents, connected sources, rules, clients, questions — is yours. You give us permission to host, copy, process and transmit it only as needed to provide Vythos to you, including sending it to the AI models that answer your questions. We do not use it to train AI models, sell it, or use it for advertising.

    You are responsible for having the right to use the content you add and the sources you connect, and for the notices you owe the people it is about. Our Data Processing Agreement governs the personal data in it.

  6. Services you connect

    When you connect Google Drive, Notion, Slack or another service, Vythos reads only what you select, with the access you grant, and you can disconnect at any time. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

  7. AI-generated answers

    Vythos uses AI models to answer questions and to read your rules. AI can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, even when it cites a source. Check what matters before you rely on it or send it to anyone. Vythos does not give legal, financial or other professional advice.

  8. Acceptable use

    You must not use Vythos to:

    • break the law, or infringe anyone's rights, including privacy and intellectual property;
    • add content you have no right to use, or connect sources you are not allowed to share;
    • generate harmful, abusive or unlawful material, or try to make the AI do so;
    • try to reach other customers' data, probe or break our security, or interfere with the service;
    • upload malware, or overload the service by automated means beyond the published limits;
    • resell or provide Vythos to others as your own service without our written agreement.

  9. Privacy and security

    Our privacy notice explains what we do with personal data as controller, and our Data Processing Agreement what we do with your workspace's personal data on your behalf. We will tell you without undue delay if a security incident affects your data.

  10. Confidentiality

    Each of us will keep the other's confidential information confidential and use it only for this agreement, unless it is already public, or the law requires disclosure.

  11. Our service and your feedback

    Vythos, its software and its brand belong to us. These terms give you the right to use it, not ownership of it. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.

  12. Suspension and ending

    You can stop using Vythos at any time. An owner can delete a workspace in Settings, and anyone can delete their own data and account under Your data; deletion is immediate and cannot be undone, and deleting a workspace cancels its subscription.

    We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if you do not pay, or if we must to protect the service, other customers or the law. Unless the situation is urgent, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right. If we end the service for you without fault on your part, we will refund any prepaid fees for the period after it ends and give you 30 days to export your data.

  13. Liability

    Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow to be limited.

    Otherwise, neither of us is liable to the other for loss of profit, revenue, business or goodwill, or for indirect or consequential loss. Each party's total liability under these terms in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or £100 if that is more.

  14. Changes to these terms

    We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will email account owners at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not agree, you can cancel before then; continuing to use Vythos after that means you accept the change.

  15. General

    These terms, the Data Processing Agreement and anything they refer to are the whole agreement between us. You may not transfer your rights under them without our consent; we may transfer ours to a company that takes over Vythos, and will tell you. Nobody else has rights under these terms. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control. We send notices by email to the account owner; send yours to michael@vythos.tech.

    These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
